Synthetic Biology and Metabolic Engineering are complementary engineering approaches sharing the common vision of being able to predict and design biological systems. When integrated, these disciplines can synergistically provide innovative and sustainable solutions to many global challenges in fields ranging from healthcare to biochemicals. The Biosystems Design Symposium Series will bring together world leading experts in Synthetic Biology and Metabolic Engineering. This symposium will provide a platform for sharing state-of-the-art developments, and for exploring opportunities and challenges in these fields.
The upcoming Biosystems Design Symposium will be held in Singapore on 26-27 May 2020.
Confirmed speakers include:
The symposium is jointly organized by the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (ICES, A*STAR), Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, A*STAR, the National University of Singapore Synthetic Biology for Clinical and Technological Innovation (NUS SynCTI), Singapore Consortium for Synthetic Biology (SINERGY), and the BioEnergy Society of Singapore (BESS).
